Privacy policy

Effective October 29, 2026 · Rhythms Health, LLC
The short version: everything you log in rhythms stays on your device. We don't have accounts or servers that hold your data, and there are no ads, tracking, or usage analytics (tools that report how you use the app). We can't see your data, so we can't sell or share it.

What you enter, and where it lives

You may enter your name, date of birth, country, cycle dates, signals (like temperature, LH tests or cervical mucus), symptoms, life stages, health conditions, doctor visits and notes. All of it is stored only on your phone, in an encrypted database. The encryption key is created on your phone and kept in its secure keychain.

Your data is never sent to Rhythms Health, LLC or to anyone else.

Why we ask for your country: it's used only on your phone to work out your hemisphere, so seasonal insights (like how your cycle length changes with the seasons) match the seasons where you live.

Home-screen widget

If you add the rhythms widget, the app shares a small summary with it — cycle day, phase and upcoming dates — so it can update each day. This summary is kept in protected storage on your phone and never leaves it. Turn on Me › Discreet home-screen widget to hide words and dates from the widget.

Reminders

Phone reminders are scheduled by your phone itself. They don't pass through any server. What shows on your lock screen follows your phone's notification preview settings. You can turn reminders off anytime in Me › Phone reminders.

Backups, exports and reports

Backup files, data exports and provider reports are created only when you ask for them, and go only where you choose to send or save them (for example Files, AirDrop or email). You can password-protect a backup. Once a file leaves the app, the service you send it to handles it under its own policies.

What we don't do

Purchases

If you buy a subscription, Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) processes the payment. We don't receive your name, card or billing details.

Links to other sites

Articles in Learn link to sources such as PubMed. If you open one, that site's own privacy policy applies.

This website

get-rhythms.app uses no cookies, website analytics or tracking. Like any website, it's delivered by a hosting provider and loads its fonts and icons from third-party services; these receive the standard technical information every web request includes, such as your IP address, and nothing you enter in the app.

Children

We don't collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because your data never leaves your device, it is never sent to us.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and your data is gone from your phone. Any backup files you saved elsewhere stay where you put them until you delete them.

Not medical advice

rhythms helps you understand your cycle. It is not a medical device or a method of birth control, and it doesn't diagnose or treat any condition. For medical concerns, talk to a healthcare provider.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
